Trent Sherwood founded International CFO’s in 2008. By establishing the firm, he made it his mission to provide strong financial management services to companies of diverse size and industry. Prior to starting International CFO’s, Trent was Director with CFGI, a Boston-based management consulting firm, where he spent three years delivering dynamic business solutions to a diverse client base. He came to CFGI after having served as Vice President and Corporate Controller for Xerium Technologies, Inc. (XRM) for seven years. As an executive leading the accounting and finance group, Trent was responsible for all aspects of financial accounting management, financial planning and analysis, internal audit and financial reporting. Prior to Xerium, Trent served as Controller for Carlisle Chemical Corporation for seven years. Trent began his professional career at the Boston office of the international accounting firm of Grant Thornton. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.
